Everyone knows of that fitness struggle. Did you know that ensuring you stay hydrated before, during and after your workout can help you exercise more effectively? When you are exercising you are more likely to become dehydrated. This will hinder your workout. Starting off your workout dehydrated may make you feel dizzy and lethargic. Your muscles also won’t work to their full potential and will cramp more easily.

Water lubricates the body and helps you exercise more efficiently. Ensuring that your body is properly hydrated will ensure that you get the most out of your workout. 70% of your body is made up of water and so you must ensure that what you lose from exercise you replenish.

A well hydrated athlete feels stronger, can workout for longer and will also have more energy. If sweating heavily or exercising in very hot weather you will need to take on more water. Ensure that you are properly hydrated to get the most out of your exercise.
